If you see a good deal in this hostel, KEEP GOING. The rooms are
filthy and orphanage-like, and there are no locks on the doors. The staff is
going on INSANE - there are crazy rules like not coming back drunk and not
leaving after midnight. "Complimentary breakfasts" are Twinkie-like sponge
cakes and boxed apple juice - and they laughed at us when we asked for it. The
bathrooms are deplorable: the showers are so slippery one of my friends slipped
and had huge bruises and pain on her back. The staff simply told her she
should have mopped the floor herself to avoid it. The only good thing about
this place is the location - only 2 blocks from Las Ramblas and right off the
beach - but with so many other hostels in the area, anywhere has to be better
than here.
