Review:
The Anker Hostel is the cheapest you're gonna find in Oslo, and
that's saying a lot. The ground floor is hospitable, with a lounge and a bar,
but the actual rooms leave much to be desired. The shower is indistingushable
from the rest of the bathroom - prepare to get everything in the bathroom
soaked. The kitchen areas are more like empty cupboards and a sink - absolutely
useless for weekend travelers. The best part of the hotel was the deal with the
Best Western next door for a discount on their buffet breakfast - the cheapest
meal you'll get in Oslo, rest assured.

Review:
The location was great, a 10 minute walk from the main stations. It
is only a 5-10 minute walk down one road to the city centre! There are lots of
bars/clubs nearby too! The hostel was extremely clean and the rooms comfy.
The private bathroom was clean and had a good shower! We loved having a fridge
and a little cooker in our room, it saved us some money! The staff were very
helpful and friendly. 10 of us stayed here and we would all highly recommend
it!

Review:
About 500 meters from the central train and bus stations.
Very clean.
Room had two cots, private bathroom, stove, and fridge. Our room was very
sunny.
Shower was great and included a shower curtain.
The exterior and entry areas are dull-looking, but the rooms themselves are
very pleasant.
There was a small sitting room with books and pay Internet.
The breakfast in the hotel next door is worth paying for.
