We were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived at this hostel. We've stayed twice - once in both rooms - and it was great. The double bunk bed in the room of 4 is good fun as you have to climb quite a ladder to get up to it! Great facilities and a good location for a fantastic city.

Gosha, the hostess of this hostel was sooo helpful and warm! She told us the best local cheap places to eat without compromising taste. She also was great with giving directions and info about operas and orchestras. I stayed in both rooms... the one with 4 beds and the one with 12... the bedrooms and the bathrooms were really clean. Because of the cheap price and the limited number of beds, I would book ahead or try your chances by phone.

This was an excellent hostel with a very friendly hostess. The hostel is really two rooms in an a converted apartment. One room fits 8 or 9 people I believe, and the other 12. There is a common room in between the two rooms, as well as a kitchen and excellent bathroom facilities. The hostel is at a great location to see all the sites of Vienna. Also, you will be aided in your site-seeing by the hostess as she will sit you down with a map and show you how to get around, cool places to go, and good restaurants/cafes to eat at.

I agree with the above review by Jordan. I called ahead because I was to arrive in Vienna after 11pm and she gave me exact bus #s, directions, left a key on the door (I paid in the AM). It had the cleanest W.C. and shower of all the hostels I'd stayed thus far and since it is a basic 2BR flat, the kitchen was fully stocked with the essentials. BYOL (lock) for cabinet (sm. travel lock size). Perfect distance walk from the center ring.
