Very good location (close to train station and sights), very clean,
lockers available, showers decent, free sangria every night and free dinner
every other night (just bring plate and fork, or 1 euro).

Great location. Clean. Friendly Romanian (not Roman) staff, though
over-worked and harangued by the management. The building was shabby and the
facilities inadequate. There were always lines for the few bathrooms. No common
room, except for an exposed roof-top terrace which was very cold and windy in
bad weather. The furniture and fittings looked like they had been found at a
charity sale. No lockers.

Review:
This hostel is a short walk from Termini Station, near
the Santa Maria Maggiore church. I had heard bad things
about the area, but was pleasantly surprised.
We
stayed in a 4-person room which shared a bath with a
double room. Everything was very clean and there was
even a TV in the room. The only problem we had with the
bathroom was being able to keep it dry during our
showers.
The hostel offers free internet service (though it is
very slow) and they have a rooftop terrace with decent
views. They give vouchers for breakfast at a nearby
cafe--we found it to be quite pleasant.
The most negative thing about the hostel is the long
hike up many flights of stairs, but I'd definitely stay
here again. |
