Review:
Good location (just off La Rambla), big place (many levels) with a
(slow) lift, clean (lock-out in the middle of the day for cleaning!), beds were
comfy with lockers right alongside, but the entire hostel had a very sterile
feel to it - seemed empty most of the time. Showers were a bit of an ordeal -
timer-release buttons (ie. press the button and water sprays out, hard, & cold
if it's the wrong time, which we weren't warned about, for about 30 secs/1 min,
then you have to press it again), separate cubicles, but only closed off with a
shower curtain and nowhere to put your stuff so it didn't get wet.
Breakfast included, but ends at 10am, so my friend & I never actually got
there...
Definitely not a place to hang around, but OK for cheap accomodation - given
the city, though, there's probably heaps friendlier at the same price
elsewhere.
