WOW! This hostel blew my mind. I was very impressed, it was closer to a hotel than hostel. Secure building, no lock outs, great staff, and neat bar. The breakfast (3/4 euro) was like an all you can eat buffett! This hostel almost convinced me to change my return home date, no I'm not kidding. Very nice comfortable beds, clean showers, clean toilets, transit info etc. Everything you want in a hostel and more. I'll be staying here whenever I'm in Berlin. Good walk to some of the sites, but nothing unmanageable! If you can figure out the U and S bahn there is a station right outside the door. No lockers in this hostel (one downside) but of course safes to leave valuables in and still more secure than most! Anyone looking for a no hassle stay should check this place out! You'll book for a night and stay for a week! They also book rooms for other locations which saves $$ in calls. Grocery around the corner, lots of restaurants too if you want them. Really go od chicken across the street too! My only regret with this hostel was not staying longer!

Rooms very clean and spacious. Security very good. Goldman's Bar is a great place to meet people as also open to outsiders - met many lovely people. Great place to stop over in Berlin!

I loved this hostel! It was incredibly clean and secure! The staff was so helpful and very nice. It was in a great location for just wandering around Berlin. The rooms were spacious and beautiful! Bathrooms were small but very clean and never too busy! YOU'LL LOVE IT!!!

I'd heard lots of people rave about the Circus hostel and certainly the staff were very friendly and helpful and the building was lovely. But it hadn't been very well mantained-the window next to my bed in my dorm was broken and impossible to shut and I had to go miles to reach a shower in working order. Also, despite having booked a couple of weeks in advance I was put in a dorm with seven men and no other women. I know they have mixed dorms but it made me feel really uncomfortable especially when one of them started playing guitar at two in the morning... I'm not sure I'd go back there.

The place is probably the best hostel in the world I've stayed!!! Beautiful, clean, with an IKEA-ish furniture. Very helpful staff and the place is really a hotel quality. I stayed in Berlin for a lot longer because I didn't want to leave the Circus. Very safe (key access), beautiful showers. They even help me to reserve hostels in Amsterdam (I saved a lot of phone $$$).
