Firstly the hostel is in a great part of town, 10 minutes from the main train station, and on one of the main shopping and eating streets in the city. The staff were friendly, the showers and bathrooms clean, and the kitchen well-equipped. The rooms where nice, and included lockers, but, while I was there one guy had 1000 Euro stolen from his locker, which is a little sketchy. The staff said that you can keep anything really valuable behind the reception desk, which would be safer. There is no lock-out or curfew, which is nice, but compromises security a little, which isn’t always good. Still a good hostel to stay at, just be careful with your valuables. wilderswil.
