Very good hostel. The neighbourhood is not a big problem. Free
service Internet, huge breakfast and modern installations. The garden is really
good to spend time and relax. The only problem is the difference between the
dorms: some of them are really wide and well lit and others are like
cells... and you are paying the same. Talk to the staff if you can have a choice.

Review:
The area - (Gardiner street) on the negative side is very dodgy, it
is the tramp and druggie hangout of Dublin,(believe me I worked nearby for
2years). On the posiive side it is very central, being near both
bus areas,Connolly train station and O'Connell street.
The hostel itself was the best hostel I have ever had the pleasure of staying
in. The security was fantastic, showers the best ever, breakfast was huge, beds
comfy and staff were excellent.
If I didn't have so many family and friends in Dublin to stay with free, I
would without a doubt stay here again.

Great place, the best hostel of my trip (think the
Hilton of hostels). Spotless, quiet, elegantly
decorated, amazing and huge breakfast buffet (I was good
til supper time!) in a very beautiful dining room,
lockable storage under the bunks, solid well designed
beds & rooms and exceptional service. Bonus: on a bus
route to the airport. |
