The name of this hostel is a deception. Hostel beautiful is
certainly NOT beautiful. The rooms were very small although clean. The kitchen
was tiny and dirty. Staff were very blase' and seemed to be more preocupied
with their hair or their friends on the phone than any one trying to check in.
Admittedly the price is very cheap and it is only a few blocks to the 'Termine'
or main train station. You may have trouble finding the hostel as there is no
major sign to herald its location and only a small name tag on the intercom
system.
You will have to carry your luggage up a dirty set of stairs as the lift is
broken.
The ensuite in my room was clean and modern but the communal bathrooms looked a
little worse for wear.
The communal eating area is uncomfortable and the walls are clad in a tacky
80's imitation bar wallpaper. (you have to see it to believe me).
