This is a brief summary of some of
the places we stayed during our 7
month trip in Europe in 2000.
Things might have changed since
then so take that into
consideration.
Netherlands:
Stayokay Vondelpark -
Zandpad 5 1054 GA Amsterdam,
Netherlands Ph:
3120 5898 996 1 set of
bunks, private bathroom.
Sterile type rooms, hostel catered
to a ton of school groups. Plain
breakfast included. Good location
but worth getting a hotel room
instead. Dorms looked clean and
well laid out. No kitchen as
we had read somewhere.
Amstel Botel -
Oosterdokskade 2-4 1011 AE
Amsterdam, Netherlands Ph: 31 206264247 Double room, private bathroom Located
by the train station on a large,
moored boat. Rooms have TV and do
not include breakfast. Pay the
extra for canal side and try and
get a room on the top floor, if
possible. A very good value for
Amsterdam.
Belgium:

great food. Breakfast not included.

dark.

included.

Damier 23, Brussels, Belgium Ph: 32
