The location is very good. Really close to Las Ramblas.

The entire place was very dirty. The common area was dirty, and it was very dark. When I was there, it was very hot, and they did not want to turn the fan on. They said that it didn't work. You would think that they'd like to have that fixed during July!?!

The rooms were so cramped, it was unbelievable! I was in an 8 person dorm, and you were literally two feet away from the person next to you, it was torture. Plus, the mattress was made of nerf football type material, and it was dirty! Because the mattress was so dirty, you needed to get a bed sheets, but then you find out that they cost 6.50 Euros! Complete ripoff. You could barely walk inside your room. Only one person could walk through at one time because it was that cramped. The beds creaked with the slightest touch. At night, people would sleep outside in the back area because it was so hot inside the rooms.

The bathroom was average.

The lockers were average as well.

They do have laundry service, but it is only one washer and dryer. So you have to hope that someone else isn't washing their clothes, because then you will waste a lot of your day doing just that.

The staff are the most unfriendly I have ever met at a hostel. And I have been to about thirty hostels. They made it seem like they were doing you a favor by allowing you to stay there. They made me change rooms three times in five days. They even made me leave out of my eight-bed dorm because a group of eight chinese travelers were staying and I should leave because I "know how chinese people are". What the hell does that mean?

Their breakfast is crap. Crackers and coffee.

When you combine an unfriendly hostel, disgusting rooms, a very hot and humid common area, and a complete disregard of the needs of the guests, you end up with possibly the worst hostel in all of Europe.
