Really great place. The rooms were fairly spacious (even if the beds did squeak a little), washrooms were great- clean and even had a tub. Beautiful building. It felt more like staying in a hotel than a hostel. The people were really nice and the breakfast was pretty good. I'd definitely go back.

The hostel was quite clean, well-organized and it had a friendly atmosphere.

-We booked via fax and when we arrived a very kind girl gave us all the information we needed: fares, rules of the hostel, possibility of leaving our baggage in the luggage room and our valuable things in the safe (for free); she also let us see the room, even thought it was lock-out time.

-The area of the hostel was very quiet and safe and it also had a lot of facilities around: supermarket, backer's shop, laundry and internet point (which was in the hostel too) I just advise you against the pizza shop in front of the hostel: we're Italian and we ate the worst pizza of our lives for 10 Euro (they put brie instead of mozzarella I think).

-The two metro stops are not too near (especially when you're carrying a 20 kg-bag) but there is also a bus stop closer where two buses pass by.

-The room was clean, the hostel gave us a double bed as we asked, the only problem was that the bathroom had no window. We didn't find the room noisy, although it faced the street.

-Breakfast was not very various but baguettes were really good, jam was ok and there were plenty of drinks: coffee, tea, milk, orange juice and chocolate (which finished very early during weekends, because it was delicious!) and the guy who prepared it was very kind and willing to help.

We never used the kitchen but it seemed clean although it was very small. The only thing we didn't like was the elevator for it had a horrible violet nap which made it seem smaller!

We enjoyed our stay a lot and we wish to come back if we'll return to Paris.

Nice atmosphere, kind people and a lot of people to know and stay with. The zone is Pasteur (very quiet), the nearest metro is at 5 minutes walk. Rooms are not so good... old beds and very bad furniture. They're not worth the price they cost. The elevator is nice... with some purple velvet inside.

Overall a good hostel, but not as close to the sights as advertised. The breakfast was only bread and jam and our blankets were unwashed. It had a friendly atmosphere though and we had our own shower.
