Maybe the worst I stayed in. So dirty! Kitchen and bathrooms were
gross. The rooms weren't too bad, but the common areas were disapointing.

Review:
I was here in September of 2004
The location was very good, next to Termini Station and within walking distance
of many of the main sites.
The cleanliness was lacking. The bathrooms were not very clean, even after the
staff cleaned it. The showers didn't generate much power, and it was sort of
difficult taking a shower with such little water.
The rooms were a bit below average. The beds tended to creak, and the floor was
pretty dirty. I don't remember there being any lockers, I forget about this.
The staff was pretty friendly. One guy in particular even walked me to the local
laundromat to get my stuff clean. And I am also a guy and the guy wasn't gay,
so it was geniune kindness, just in case you were wondering, haha.
The common area was ok I suppose. A few couches, a t.v. and some tables outside
for the smokers. There were plenty of partiers when I was there, so if you're
looking for that, this hostel is good.
Overall, I enjoyed my time there. Four thumbs for the staff and fun factor, and
2 for the facilities, so i'll give it a 3.

This was a really friendly hostel. The receptionists were so
helpful. Good location next to the train station. But... the bedrooms were
smelly and the toilets were filthy too. The showers were disgusting and I
feared coming out of them dirtier and with more germs than when before I went
in, I never really felt clean the whole stay! But if you don't mind grime and
not much security, it's a great place to meet like minded travellers!

Location of hostel was great, however, the actual rooms
were disgusting and had NO security at all. The
bathrooms had an odd smell and the toilets were worse.
It had a great common room and friendly kitchen area.
All in all, the rooms and facilities were a let down for
such a great located and good concept hostel. |

The
location is great; just a few blocks from the train
station Termini. The people at the front desk were all
English-speaking expatriates and very helpful. They
pointed us in the right direction as far as what to see,
where to eat. There was also a large social area where
we could chat with other backpackers.
Breakfast (which included a muffin-type pastry and pear
juice) was included in the price of the room, which was
about 20 euros a night. We went in October, so it wasn't
very crowded. The hostel also offers free internet
access and video rentals for the main room. There is a
kitchen as well.
The rooms were not spectacular. They smelled very musty
and moldy, but at least there was a big window that we
could open up. I left with bug bites on my hands and
arms.
The bathrooms were filthy. They were co-ed and smelled
awful. The showers were very small and I avoided at all
costs touching the sides of them.
Overall, it was an OK hostel. The atmosphere was
relaxing, and I felt very safe there. The people at the
desk allowed us to keep our backpacks in a room behind
the desk while we were out during the day. So besides
the bedrooms and bathrooms, I have no complaints. |
