I knew when I booked that it wouldn't be anything brilliant; the
previous reviews on websites told me this, but as I was going to the WCC it was
a reasonable location and for that I couldn't complain; also, it is opposite
the Tube and the Bakerloo line takes you straight into central London.
I didn't think much of the staff though; I came with a group of eight and was
told we would be put in the same dorm and we ended up been split up; I only got
us split into pairs because I stood at the recpetion desk and refused to budge.
The showers were stupid, and that is all I can say. I know they say that dorms
are ensuite but having a shower in the corner of the dorm is just taking the
biscuit if you ask me. In the end I went out and bought a swimming costume so I
could have some semblance of privacy considering I was the only girl in the
whole dorm. The meals were cheap, but I only ate there once.....and I wouldn't
reccomend it. Put it this way, when I first arrived the receptionist was
chopping carrots at the desk, a cigerette in her mouth!
A plus side is that it was reasonably clean. My sheets were clean, the shower
was clean and the toilets were clean. I think that is the only thing I can find
to say that is positive about the hostel; but for £10 a night you can't
particually complain, though that said, I won't go there again.

We went there with a group of 40 people. The sheets were dirty, the
windows broken and some guys of the staff were obnoxious trying to hit on
13-year-olds. A place to stay away from. Breakfast was poor. Not recommedable at
all.

The hostel is too far away from the centre. One day when the tube
and busses didn't work because of a thunder storm we had to walk 2 hours from
Baker Steet station to the Millenium Lodge through a dark and dirty area. The
room we booked wasen't empty, so we led tidy up it before we could enter. In
the night we woke up because a girl entered the room loudly and searched her
clothes. Breakfast is lousy, tables and dishes are dirty. Staff is very young
but friendly. facilities are clean, shower is in the room. I wouldn't go there
again.

Dirty hostel, bad managed (they promise 6-bedded room but they fit 8
beds in and don't check if people take more people during the night).. but if
you can get through this, it's the cheapest way to sleep in London and it's
within the 2nd tube zone (and the tube stop it's right in front of the hostel).
At least the free breakfast is on a "take as much as you can eat" basis! :)
