Loved the staff - great food! Not a huge fan of the early curfew.

This hostel is VERY clean. But that is ALL it is good for. They
treat you like children here, internet is expensive and the lockout is
rediculous. If this is one of your first hostels, then it should be fine. But
for me, I have stayed in too many cool hostels to enjoy this one. Out of
everything, the lockout is the worst. |

Gorgeous location, but steep hill to reach it. Food is
outstanding, staff was excellent, other guests were fun
to be with. One of the best hostels I've enjoyed in
Europe. |

A
great place. Food, staff, rooms and view are all very
good. The walk up to it is no picnic if you have a heavy
pack, but it's a nice reward when you get there. The
courtyard in front often presents an opportunity to play
some football with the local kids, or watch the artists
paint landscapes. |

Good food, good staff, very clean. Everything you could
want... only reason I didn't give it 5 is that it is
pretty characterless! |

This was my favorite hostel by far on my trip. Excellent
staff, excellent food, great location, immaculately
clean. I also met some great people. Only moan are that
you only get a five minute shower. I will definitely be
returning. |

Very clean, hot showers, staff friendly, great view (if
you're facing the sea!) and larger rooms than any other
hostel I stayed in. While it is "characterless," is does
stand in the gathering piazza in Manarola (next to an
OLD church)... a great place to witness the REAL culture
and personality of the local Manarolans. Beware of the
church bell ringing in the early morning, though! |
