Review:
We don't recommand this hostel for the following 10 good reasons :
1. only one toilet and bathroom for up to 22 guests (often full)
2. very unfriendly and rude hosts
3. hosts only there during the morning time (which is good considering point 2)
4. you have to get out of the hostel between 10am and 2pm (don't hope taking a
shower after that)
5. small and unconfortable beds, 10 in a small ugly dorm
6. threatening messages all around the place ("don't do this, don't touch
that...")
7. variable prices (we paid 15 euros in the 10 beds dorm)
8. not so cheap knowing that the wombats hostel costs 16 euros in a >8 beds
dorm with attached bathroom
9. location not so conveniant (nearly as far from the center as the wombats)
10. strange smells all over the place (coffee and cigarettes of the hosts in
the morning)

Review:
We
stayed in a double room and found it to be clean and
pleasant. We did have problems with having to wait to
take a shower and the shower not being that clean, but
it wasn't disgusting, either. We were surprised to see
some people were actually climbing ladders to stay in
what looked to be a quasi-attic, though I didn't go up
there so don't know! The facilities are up a couple
flights, but there's a great old-fashioned elevator. The
location isn't the most convenient, but there is a
street car stop nearby. We called from the train station
to get directions and they were very pleasant and
helpful. I'd stay here again in a private or double
room, don't know if I'd brave the dorm here, however. |
