Review:
Compared to High Street Hostel or Castle Rock this place
is heaven as it is a much smaller and quieter hostel,
with only around 45 beds. A major downside to this
hostel is that it doesn't have full kitchen facilities.
It consists of a sink, microwave, an electric frying pan
and two small refrigerators. Think kitchenette style.
There is a very small communal/ sitting area and you
feel as though you are in a waiting room or foyer as it
is right in the reception area. The staff were very
friendly and helpful and they always seem to be having a
good time. The dorms were adequate and the hostel is in
a great location right on the Royal Mile, walking
distance to most tourist sites. The washroom facilities
were clean, but in typical hostel fashion, small shower
stalls and small toilet stalls. |
