Pretty good location, about 5-10 min walk from both the train
station and La Grand Place. Very clean. Key card locks for all the rooms. Clean
showers and toilets - shared. No lockers. Kind of a sterile environment. Not
much opportunity to meet people not in your room. Lock out. Has decently priced
laundry facilities. However it is the only redeeming quality of Brussels. Grand
Place is cool but the rest is ugly and boring. We used this as our base to go
to Brugge which was fabulous!

Review:
The Sleep Well had many problems from the start. Its communal
showers - only 2 for half a floor of women - work on an insane process: push the
button for water, with no temperature control. The rooms are comfortably sized
- we had a 4-person with a sink in the room - but there was also no temp.
control here either. The rest of the hostel is friendly, both in atmosphere
and staff. Hangout room has Internet, TV, and billiards. We also booked our
cab ride to the airport and a day trip to Bruges through the hostel, and got a
discount! Only 10 minute walk to Grand Place. A fairly pleasant experience.

OK, it is clean.....but that's about it. Boring, pretentious, bar
closed on Sunday, unfriendly staff and the hostel was over packed with
school groups...!

Very clean, no lockers, 1 bathroom per floor but most
rooms had showers in room. Dinner is okay for price
because you get quite a bit and breakfast is included
and more than just bread which was nice. |
