Review:
This is a nice, fairly new facility. The other guests
seemed to be mostly from other parts of the UK. Price:
80 pounds for a 7-night stay.
Location: In theory, a little far from the action. But
with a tube stop across the street and nearby bus
service, I found this very convenient. There is a
Safeway two doors down, and a 24-hour-per-day eatery
next door. I heard the surrounding neighborhood is not
the best, but right where the hostel is seems fine. Like
many St. Christopher's, this has a Belushi's
bar/restaurant attached. I didn't hear any noise from
it.
Cleanliness: Seemed fine.
Facilities: Laundry room available. Showers are fine.
There is a fairly large common room in the basement with
two TVs and a computer. The TVs did not stop
conversation.
Rooms: The room I stayed in had 6 beds. Bunks and
bedding are fine.
Lockers and storage: Did not use either of these. |
